This has been a great summer for SUMMIT’S famous Water Days! All ages – from babies to age 12 – have been enjoying getting wet this summer! It might look like they are just having fun, but there is a lot of LEARNING going on!
Our teachers develop lesson plans and are purposeful in their planning while using The Creative Curriculum, which is research-based early childhood curricula.
Did you know?? All of the SUMMIT Early Learning Child Care Centers and Centers for School-age Development are rated STAR 3 and 4 (out of 4), which means that we are recognized for providing quality early learning experiences, meeting high quality standards, and continuous quality improvement.
We are very proud to be among a small percentage of child care centers in the State with these ratings!
WELCOME
We have welcomed a new Center Director to our Lewisburg Center! Jennifer Rice has joined the SUMMIT Team and comes to us with varied and extensive experience working with children and in the field of early childhood education! 😊
GOOD BYE GRADUATES
We are excited for the kiddos who will be “graduating” from preschool and going on to kindergarten in the fall! It’s always a bittersweet time and we will miss them so much! But we know that they are ready to take on the world outside of SUMMIT! (Hoping to see many of them in our before- and after-school programs though!) 🤞😉
Our Summer Campers have also been able to be out in the community, once again, and have visited some great local parks. Staff took 96 children to Knoebels…and many of them have NO fear!
