Summary: The Mental Health Coordinator position will manage and oversee daily operations of mental and behavioral health services in addition to providing classroom and in-home disabilities/mental health and behavioral supports to individual children and families. Must have strong belief in the value of early childhood education, the ability to work well with others, and a solid knowledge of disabilities and mental health principles and theories.
Education and Background Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or Human Services with specialized training in mental health, infant-toddler development, family dynamics and functioning crisis intervention, infant mental health, trauma informed practice; plus a minimum of 2 years of experience working with at risk families and supervisory experience.
Prefer Master’s Degree in Infant Mental Health, Counseling, Social Work, Sociology, or Psychology plus PA certified mental health provider or commitment to obtaining certification.

Location:  Union/Snyder Counties
Summary: Provides short-term support and intervention services to families that are enrolled in SUMMIT Early Learning programs. The position will focus on nurturing and enhancing parent/child relationships to increase bonding and attachment, promote child and family health and well-being, prevent adverse childhood experiences, support family functioning for reunification, and link families to appropriate services within the community.
Education and Background Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or Human Services. Specialized training in Mental Health, Infant Toddler Development, Family Dynamics and Functioning, Crisis Intervention, Infant Mental Health, Trauma Informed Practice. A minimum of 1 year experience working with pregnant women and families with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with families at risk for abuse and neglect including emergency assistance, crisis intervention, advocacy and behavioral health support. 
Preferred: Master’s Degree Infant Mental Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology; Certification in Counseling or Infant Mental Health; also prefer one year of experience in home visiting.
Compensation Range: Full-time, $17.83 – $22.81 per hour, depending upon qualifications.

Location:  Mifflinburg
Summary:  Manage and oversee the daily operations of the agency’s early childhood education services to guarantee high quality and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and guidance, including Head Start performance standards for child development and education services and OCDEL performance standards, certification, and STARS QRIS system. Coordinate community-based classrooms in collaboration with school districts and intermediate units; management of curriculum, classroom quality, staffing, and staff development of child care centers. This includes direct supervision of four Center Directors and two community-based Site Managers. Office based at agency headquarters in Mifflinburg, PA; must be willing to travel to site locations in Union, Snyder, and Mifflin counties as needed.
Education and Background Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field, with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE; 5 years’ employment experience in early care and education including preschool teaching experience; 2+ years supervisory experience including background in program administration and operations. Requirements that must be satisfied prior to hire: a) education qualifications as listed above, b) proof of degree/certification and experience to meet the qualifications of the position, c) Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record check, d) successful completion of pre-employment physical examination which includes a Tuberculosis screening.
