We all know that the state of things right now is taking a toll on everyone – some more than others. At SUMMIT, part of our job is to be sure that we are caring for and educating the whole child, which includes their social and emotional wellbeing.
Partly because of the times we are living in, SUMMIT is placing a greater emphasis on Social Emotional Learning (SEL). In an effort to enhance these learning opportunities, we are so excited to be setting up “Social Emotional Libraries” for all of our centers/sites.
Our Education Staff have carefully selected items to include that will help the children develop the social and emotional skills they need to be resilient, regulate their emotions, and manage their behaviors.
This is where you come in!
For this #GivingTuesday, November 30th, you have the opportunity to help us initially stock all of our Social Emotional Libraries with some learning tools that are super fun, interactive, and specifically geared toward little ones!
Click here to see an overview of each of the items we are going to be adding to our libraries. Any amount you give will go directly towards purchasing these items and will be greatly appreciated!

Don’t forget to follow and share our stories on Facebook and Instagram so your friends and family members have the opportunity to give too! Follow #GrowWithSUMMIT to see social emotional learning in action!
On behalf of the children and families in our communities, thank you!
