TEACHER - EARLY HEAD START (year round)

SUMMIT Early Learning in Lewisburg is looking to hire a teacher to work in our Early Head Start classroom. Our staff is comprised of loving, caring and committed individuals, joined together as a team. Summit Early Learning staff are dedicated to provide a high-quality learning experience for infants and toddlers and their families, implementing the curriculum and daily plans, and providing a safe environment for the children. QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum requirements:
CDA (Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate). Must have an interest in child development; have a flexible personality; be capable of working with a diverse population; work independently, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or BA/BS in a related field with 15 credits in ECE plus two years of experience working in an early childhood setting with infants/toddlers.

RESPONSIBILITIES: With the support of a qualified team and using research-based curriculum, work with culturally, ethnically, and socio-economically diverse populations of children/families and ensure the delivery of a quality early childhood education program in compliance with all applicable regulations. 

LOCATION:
LEWISBURG CHILDREN’S CENTER, Lewisburg, PA

HOURS & SALARY: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday – Friday. (Based on the school-year calendar.) $16.41 to $18.24/hour, 200 days/year, 8 hours/day.
