SUMMIT Early Learning is looking for caring, dependable Assistant Teachers to join our early childhood teams. As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll work alongside our teaching staff to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where young children can learn, play, and grow.

What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll be an active part of the classroom team. You will:

• Assist with daily classroom routines, activities, and learning experiences
• Support teachers with planning and implementing classroom activities
• Supervise and engage with children during indoor and outdoor activities
• Create a warm, caring, positive, and welcoming classroom environment
• Support the individual development and needs of each child
• Help maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience working with children.

Applicants with a CDA or college degree may qualify for a higher rate of pay.

Susquehanna Children’s Center | Selinsgrove, PA

Pay

Full-time | 40 hours/week | Monday–Friday | Full-year

$15.67–$17.52/hour based on qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience: $15.67/hour
• CDA: $16.92/hour
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree: $17.52/hour
