QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma. Prefer experience working with young children.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the care of a group of head start (preschool) children, consistent with the program plan of the agency and head start regulations. Assist in creating an emotionally responsive, caring, positive and accepting environment supportive of the individual development of each child and family. 

LOCATION: LEWISTOWN CHILDREN’S CENTER, Lewistown PA

HOURS & SALARY: Full-time (40 hours/week, 200 days/year, 8 hours/day), Monday – Friday, $15.00-17.40 per hour.

Rate of Pay: based on education/experience
   -High school diploma: $15.00/hour
   -High school diploma with 2 years’ experience: $15.56/hour
   -CDA: $16.81/hour
   -Associate or Bachelors Degree: $17.40/hour
