SUMMIT Early Learning in Lewisburg is looking to hire a teacher to work in our Early Head Start classroom. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of an infant/toddler CDA is required. An associates or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field with 30 ECE credits is preferred. Must have an interest in child development, a flexible personality and enjoy a variety in daily work routines. Must also have the ability to work with cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic diverse populations, work independently, plus have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES: In a center-based early childhood classroom, the EHS teacher is responsible for managing all aspects of services planning, coordination, recordkeeping, problem solving, and communication to ensure delivery of a quality early childhood education program in compliance with all applicable regulations for enrolled children and families. This position requires working in an office setting, home visiting clients, attending socialization days and working some evenings.

LOCATION:
LEWISTOWN CHILDREN’S CENTER, Lewistown, PA

HOURS & SALARY: Full time/full year, 38.75 hours/week, Monday through Friday.

  Rate of Pay: based on education/experience:
         CDA: $17:40/hour
         Associate Degree in ECE or related field: $17.99/hour
        Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or related field: $19.70/hour
