SUMMIT Early Learning is looking for caring, dedicated Preschool Teachers to lead our early childhood classrooms. As a Preschool Teacher, you’ll create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment while leading a classroom team that supports each child’s individual development and helps them build the skills they need to thrive.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with the required ECE credits.

PREFERRED: A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with the required ECE credits is preferred. Previous experience in an early childhood program and experience as a lead teacher or supervisor are also preferred.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Preschool Teacher, you’ll lead the classroom team while staying actively involved in the learning and fun each day. You will:

• Create a warm, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Plan and implement engaging learning experiences that support school readiness.
• Use observations and assessment information to individualize learning for each child.
• Support the inclusion and individual needs of all children.
• Lead and collaborate with Assistant Teachers and other classroom team members.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Partner with families through regular communication, parent-teacher conferences, and home visits.
• Help ensure a safe, healthy classroom and high-quality early childhood program.

Lewisburg Children’s Center | Lewisburg, PA

HOURS & PAY

Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, Full-year (260 days/year)
$18.11–$19.83/hour based on education:

• Associate degree in ECE or related field with required ECE credits: $18.11/hour
• Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field with required ECE credits: $19.83/hour

$2,500 Sign-On Bonus

$1,500 paid after the first month of employment, with the remaining $1,000 paid at the end of the 12-month provisional period.
