CREATIVE CORE: Theme and Curriculum

Our team has been working hard to ensure that the Creative Core for this summer has intentional implementation and meaningful engagement, and is a truly enjoyable summer experience!

Our summer months follow a themed focus:

June is all about exploration and goal-setting. Students will create their camp bucket list, choose long-term projects that spark their interest, start their creative journals, and dive into exciting outdoor explorations.

July shifts into skill-building, where students will grow in ARTS, STEM, and TEAMWORK. They’ll bring their creativity to life by writing their own camp story, building a cardboard city, and developing their green thumbs through gardening and plant care.

August is a time for activation and celebration. Students will put their skills into action, finalize their long-term projects, reflect on their journey, and share their accomplishments with the camp community.

With this structured yet dynamic approach, we’re excited to create a summer that is engaging, inspiring, and full of growth for every student. We can’t wait to see all the creativity and learning come to life!

Community Connections:

This summer, our camps will feature Community visitors sharing educational programs, activities, and FUN!

Returning Partners include:

  • PSU SNAP-Ed
  • WellSpan Health
  • 4-H
  • Local libraries

Special in-house guest showcasing:

  • Art talents and skills
  • Many other exciting programs and activities!

A monthly activity calendar will be shared and posted at each camp program.
