FIELD TRIPS & OFFSITE EXCURSIONS

Summer camp offers exciting opportunities to explore the community. To ensure a fun and safe experience, campers must:

  • Follow all instructions from camp staff.
  • Stay with their assigned staff member at all times.
  • Represent our camp positively to ensure future invitations.

Trip Changes: Stay Informed

If there are any changes to field trip locations or departure times, we will alert parents through:

  • Class Dojo & ProCare. Notifications will be posted.
  • Parent Bulletin Board. Check daily for updates.

Field Trip and Swimming Day Reminders for Parents

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all campers, please review the following guidelines for field trip and swimming days:

Arrival Time: Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time to allow for check-in and ensure a timely departure.

Appointment Arrangements: If your camper has an appointment on a field trip or swimming day, you may drop off or pick up your child at the designated location.

  • Advance Notice Required: To facilitate smooth coordination and ensure the safety of your child, please notify camp staff at least 24 hours in advance if you plan to drop off or pick up your camper at the excursion location.
  • Contact Information: When making arrangements, please provide the following details: Camper’s full name, appointment time and location, expected drop-off or pick-up time.

Safety and Supervision: For the safety of all campers, unscheduled drop-offs or pick-ups at excursion locations cannot be accommodated.

Field Trip Money 

  • Most field trips will not require spending money.
  • If spending is allowed, you will be notified in advance with a recommended amount.
  • Sending money is optional unless otherwise noted, and students are responsible for managing their money.
  • Our trips are focused on educational purposes.
  • Due to time constraints and the number of students, we cannot visit every attraction or allow time for the gift shop.
